Doğakent
Doğakent is a settlement designed by Ankara Metropolitan Design Center. It is situated on the eastern part of Ankara, on the Ankara ring road, at the junction of Samsun Esenboğa road and the Elmadağ road. The project area stands out with its closeness to central locations such as Oran and Çankaya. It is only 10,5 km distant to Atakule, 12,5 km to Or-An and 30 km to Ankara Esenboğa Airport.
The total project area is 7.448.523 m2 and the 1/5000 Development Master Plan, the 1/1000 Implementary Development Plan and the Zoning Plans have been made and approved by the Ankara Municipality. All the infrastructural works have been completed for the Project area and the area is ready for the superstructure works.
In the Development Master Plan, all the density and building lot restrictions are indicated. 3 types of density category have been predicted.
In high density and medium density plots, the coefficient is determined as 1,4, in the building lots larger then 4000m2 or on the basis of blocks this value reaches 1,54. It is predicted that when all the construction works finish, Doğakent will be hosting around 38.000 houses and 120.000 inhabitants.

With its completed infrastructure, its topographical characteristics and its location, Doğakent is a strong candidate for being a planned, elite and sustainable urban model. In the concepts that we have developed for this settlement, our main objective is to use all these potentials, to straighten these with added values and to ensure a European standard life style in this future inhabitation.
